More Scorpion Hunting

I decided to go out tonight and see just how good of photos I could take with my new digital SLR (Canon EOS 30D). Ends up, I can take some really good photos, even in virtually no light. The only real problem that I did run into was Teresa scaring them away, and a tripod that can't support the weight of the camera. :(

Scorpion Hunting

Just got back from outside. I was looking at the pool being filled up and my neighbor Bob yelled over the fence and said 'hi'. After a few minutes of chatting he explained that he went outside every night and killed scorpions since they were invading his house. Apparently he started about 8 months ago and was killing about 20-30 per night, and now he's seeing 2 to 3 per night.

Ends up he loaned me his UV light and scorpion killer spray for the night so I went about walking my property looking for scorps to kill. Talk about a success, I killed over 30 scorpions just tonight, and just out back. Here are a few pictures of them.
